The Wingfield 8' Heavy-duty 3 point Pasture Chain Harrow is the smallest harrow in our Heavy-Duty 3 point lineup.  With a fully-encompassing 3" box-tube framework, the unit is built strong enough to allow for expansion - by adding wings, and then by turning it into a pull-type harrow cart. This unit is 8' 0" wide and 8' 0" in length.

First, you start with the 8' 3 point center frame. Then, you can add a pair of 4' 9", 5' 7" or 6' 5" hydraulic folding wings - which allows you cover twice the ground while still being able to get through gates. Finally, you can add a tongue, tires, and lift cylinder to turn the harrow into a pull-type cart.

This is very popular for leveling, grooming, and maintaining beaches. When the oil spill in the gulf occurred, we sent a fleet of harrows down to level off and groom behind the heavy equipment being used. Several cities upon seeing the job it does, chose to utilize the American Harrow to drag and maintain their beachfronts. The harrow contours to fill in low and high spots, collects larger trash, and firms the sand leaving an excellent finish that is pleasant to walk on.

Remember: With a harrow on a frame you control the harrow, a harrow on a drawbar control you!

Optional:  Heavy-Duty Chain and Clevis (10' Long) allows the harrow to be removed from the frame to be pulled by a tractor or pickup truck.

I was disappointed with the instructions. They were not the ones for my model. It told me incorrect bolt sizes and i had to take it apart half way through the build because the bolts were wrong! I get to the end and its missing a rear bar and brackets that hold the bar. now I can reach anyone to help me .
