Though the Wingfield 4' 9" 3 point EconoDrag is our smallest harrow in the 3pt EconoDrag line, it still does the work of a much larger piece of equipment. With quick-adjust tine aggressiveness and a Cat #1 quick-hitch enabled attachment, this 4' framed harrow is a breeze to use as an operator. This unit is often used as a landscape rake and to prepare the ground for seeding a yard.

Though the Wingfield 4' 9" 3 point EconoDrag is our smallest harrow in the EconoDrag line, it still does the work of a much larger piece of equipment. The Wingfield 3 point EconoDrag is the best harrow for sale on the market with features like these:

  • A high carbon, DRAWN, spring steel tine that can outlast the competition by up to three times!
  • Harrow tines are computer bent to ensure even wear and consistent performance
  • Rings in lieu of hooks to prevent unhooking, binding, and premature wear
  • Box-tube framework encompasses the entire harrow, and is built heavy enough to withstand harsh conditions
  • The 3 point Lift is setup for a Cat #1 tractor and is quick-hitch enabled
  • Harrow can be pulled in the aggressive mode (tines standing up), less aggressive mode (tines laying flat), upside down (tines pointing in the air), or a combination between the front and rear section - rough up in aggressive mode with the front section, and smooth out with the rear section upside down
  • The harrow mat attaches to the frame with 4 chains -this allows the operator the ability to quickly switch from the aggressive to less aggressive modes. Just release the chains, leave the harrow mat on the ground, drive your tractor with frame around to the other end, re-attach the chains, and drive off in the other direction
  • Entire unit can be broken down into 3 pieces with no tools required, and can also fit in the bed of a pickup truck
  • Made in USA

The Wingfield 3 point EconoDrag is small, but built to last. The 3 point framework gives the operator full control in using and transporting the harrow. No matter if you are doing seedbed preparation or leveling a yard, the Wingfield 3 point EconoDrag will get the job done right!

Remember: You control the harrow on a frame, a drag harrow controls you.

Optional: 3pt Transport Support Hooks are designed to keep the harrow off the ground when attaching to a tractor that has limited 3pt lift height capacity, like a compact tractor.

Optional: Chain and Clevis (6' Long) allows the harrow to be removed from the frame to be pulled by an ATV, UTV, garden tractor, or pickup truck.

Absolutely no problem with the direction or assembling. Not missing any parts or pieces and all the bolt holes lined up just fine. Took about two hours with constant interruptions. I’d say it could easily be done in an hour and a half . I did put lock tight on everything. My issues: The top pin holes on the three point hook up is misaligned. I can easily see one plate is 3/8 to a 1/4 off from the other. This causes the pin to rest on the side of the hook and not properly seated in the saddle. I’ll get over it. Don’t look at the paint too hard because it’ll fall off. Really it’s that bad. I don’t think there is much prep done before painting. That’s going to be a little harder to get over when it starts rusting prematurely. Now according to Winfield American Harrow the end drag rings are supposed to be welded solid to prevent binding or coming unhooked. Well only one end of the one I received has rings and the other end has come unhooked and has gotten bound up (no rings just hooks). The center hooks of the two mats are a constant issue with coming unhooked. It happens about every other time it’s picked up. Not sure if I should just hammer them shut or add some stock and weld them shut. Extremely aggravating! I would expect to see these issues with Titan Ind. but not with “American Steel. American Labor. American Quality “. I don’t know but I hope this helps someone.
